Holiday Inn Resort Phuket Recognized for Ongoing Commitment to Waste Reduction and Sustainable Waste Management As part of the initiative, Holiday Inn Resort Phuket was presented with a Certificate of Recognition in acknowledgement of the resort’s continued participation and contribution to responsible waste management practices within the Patong community. For more than two years, Holiday Inn Resort Phuket has actively implemented waste reduction and segregation practices across the resort, with a focus on minimizing unnecessary waste, improving waste separation, and maximizing the value of recyclable and reusable materials. This achievement has been made possible through the collective effort and cooperation of our colleagues across every department. From correctly separating waste in operational areas to reducing unnecessary consumption and raising environmental awareness in daily operations, every team member has played an important role in making the resort’s sustainability efforts meaningful and consistent. The project, led by Patong Municipality, aims to promote the principles of the Circular Economy by encouraging businesses and communities to make the best possible use of waste and resources. It also provides education on proper waste segregation, supports the establishment of dedicated waste separation points, and helps reduce contamination between general waste, hazardous waste, and infectious waste. Receiving this recognition reflects not only the resort’s environmental commitment, but also the dedication of the entire Holiday Inn Resort Phuket team. Holiday Inn Resort Phuket extends its sincere appreciation to Patong Municipality, the Public Health and Environment Division, and all of our colleagues who continue to support this initiative. We remain committed to working together to reduce our environmental impact, support our local community, and contribute to a more sustainable future for Phuket.
